An international oil and gas operating company has entered in to a 3-year multi-asset agreement to further embed emissions.AI and X-PAS across their operations.

The new agreement is the latest milestone in our relationship which has grown from a successful pilot of X-PAS back in 2019. Since then the customer has deployed emissions.AI on their entire UKCS portfolio of assets to better understand how operational data can be used to reduce emissions, optimise energy use and power consumption, and save across energy, fuel and carbon costs.

Both solutions are cloud-based and powered by artificial intelligence. emissions.AI is focused on using operational data to identify opportunities to reduce carbon emissions, while X-PAS improves reliability and reduces maintenance costs on complex assets.

Chris Ayres, Chief Customer Officer at OPEX said:

“emissions.AI has become an integral part of our customer’s broader emissions reduction programme. The onshore and offshore teams have embraced the use of data analysis to identify opportunities to reduce emissions through the way their facilities are operated and configured. They have also created a culture of carbon awareness across their teams.”
